Package Free Tips!
01 Choose the soap without the sticker and make note of the code for the counter
Package free soap from realfoods.co.uk

02 Say no to the straw at the same time you order your beverage
Staff in bars and restaurants are generally very
busy and are on autopilot when serving customers
so I've found its always best to mention I don't want
the straw when I am ordering my drink.

03 Take a flask/reusable cup where ever you go
It can be hard to introduce a new habit into your
daily pattern. Try remembering to place it in your
bag along with your keys before you leave the
house, or maybe after breakfast. Also if your sitting
in the cafe its best to mention that you would like
an actual cup. I've noticed some chain businesses
just give you disposable automatically even if you
are sitting in!

04 Upcycle what you can!
Many things we throw into the recycling could
actually be upcycled into something useful in
the house. Such as Jars, Milk Cartons and
cardboard . . There are many ways to create
useful household items. . If you are struggling
for idea's just google! The internet is fully
loaded with upcycling bloggers from around
the world.
Its also a really fun process for children to get
involved with as its creative and they are
learning at the same time!
05 Look for alternative options
Toilet roll is a difficult one to avoid plastic if you
don't want to spend a fortune.
Sometimes if you are lucky you can find rolls
wrapped in paper but they can usually be expensive
or quite difficult to find. In this case I feel all you
can do is try to find the best alternative solution
which I feel is to buy compostable wrapped toilet roll
or recycled toilet paper.
