Hey earthlings!

its been a while since I have made any posts as I lost my smartphone . . twice! So have been unable to document my package free ventures. However I still continue this mission and will endeavor to update when I can. The search for alternative methods for our everyday packaged goods continues. .

And so . . a wee post about socks . . .

Those funny little fabric things that we attach to our feet. .

I was gifted a bunch of socks for xmas last year and sure enough, the air ventilation was activated within the first few weeks of wear. It seems like every item of clothing I have has to take a ritual hole making ceremony in order to be worn upon my person. .

In any case, I suppose this post is really just to raise a bit of awareness that quality trumps quantity. Instead of buying these 10 pack “throw away fashion” items from certain companies i.e.. Primark, you’d get a lot more value and wear out of buying three decent pairs from a hiking store or wherever. Just decent quality socks, unless you want to take up darning which is also a nice skill for fixing up your wardrobe if you have the time.

I wanted to share this because for the first time in a long time I bought myself a decent pair of silky softies . . and yes they were expensive for one pair but the quality and the ethical value makes up for those extra coins and as they will last a lot longer, I end up saving money!

Quality OVER Quantity :-)

The socks I bought were from a brand called thOught who use hemp and bamboo for super soft eco friendly sustainable yumminess.
