So we ran out of toilet roll in the house . . Something that I never had to deal with in other parts of the world. A simple water gun next to the toilet was all you would need in Asia. When Arriving back to the UK a few years ago the idea of putting tissue in the toilet felt so wrong. . Yet with no other option I have succumb to the habits of the western world. Finding package free toilet roll is basically a big fat NOPE. Unless you are willing to take from any big name social enterprises . . ahem, mentioning no names, choose at your leisure. SO, what to do . . . I headed to The New Leaf Co Op again where I found the nearest thing to package free.
ECOLEAF - Recycled toilet paper in 100% compostable packaging.
The tissue is wrapped in bioplast, a plastic free and fully compostable material.
This product is supplied by a company called Suma who also supply the package free bars of soap you saw in my last video.
SUMA is a business managed and owned by its workers, they supply a wide variety of ethical, ecological and socially responsible product lines. Balancing our needs with the needs of the planet so big thumbs up from me.
